It amazes me how many negative remarks were posted, especially the "Who cares?" variety. If you don't care, why did you read the article which was titled "Obama's favorite pizza"; I can understand the negative comments about Chicago-style pizza, since New Yorkers think that only good things come from NYC. Apparently they have had only poor imitations - real Chicago style is thick from the fillings, not from the crust - that is Neopolitan style. Really hilarious are the Bush-ites wondering what Obama is going to do to fix the economy. Gee... wonder how it got so screwed up?

Who cares what he likes? I know what I like, and I'm not telling. If I did the place would be full of my fans...or maybe not. Either way I'm not telling. Ok, fine. It's Capi's Pizzaria in Etobicoke, Ontario, Canada. Untouchable. Don't tell Obama though, or it'll get too busy. Our Toronto/Etobicoke pizza places are great.

I'm with President-elect Obama on the thin-crust vs deep-dish pizza debate, as with most other issues: thin-crust is definitely the kind of pizza I prefer! A friend of mine from Italy is now educating me on what REAL pizza is like, so when I make my own, I use a thin crust, with just olive oil, fresh basil, dried rosemary, crushed red pepper, chopped tomato, fresh mozzarella, and a little salt. Now THAT'S good pizza!!

I never expected Obama to be a pizza lover. I thought he was more of a soul food type of guy - collard greens, sweet potato pie, macaroni and cheese, and fried chicken.
