Awesome news for blended drink junkies: Starbucks is introducing a light version of their creme frappuccinos this month. Also? Check out the vanilla-orange light creme frap. Dee-lish.

what i do at dunkin donuts is buy a small (since the medium looks like a large) caramel iced latte w/ skim milk & WITHOUT whipped cream. when i drink it, i don't feel bad drinking something made with whole milk and whipped cream on top. go on their website. they show the nutrition facts for everything they sell. i also advise to avoid their smoothies. they are really high in calories. :) just helping out for those who want to eat more healthy. lol.

i am extremely shocked that a place called "fatburger" has no diet options. i never would have discovered that it would have been a bad thing had i gone there while dieting.

honestly, you'd be an idiot if you thought any of those drinks were healthy for you. Just look at the names: double chocolate chip blended creme with whipped cream....of course that's going to be pretty calorific!

Starbucks has a variety of drinks under 300 calories. You can always make yur own adaptations too! I created a carmel apple frap. Tell the barista to fill the pitcher to the first line with apple juice, to the second line with the new light creme base, 2 pumps of sugar free carmel and there you go! It is great! (I'm a shift supervisor btw)

people wonder why they have high cholesterol, high blood pressure, and depression from the lack of money! large effects come from very small changes, what tempations are you going to sway yourself from? it's okay to say no and to try something different, more healthy, and with out all the sugar to melt your brain.

It is a matter of being smart about what you drink. You do not have to get the double Chocolate Chip Frap. You have to make the right choice about what you drink.

Try making your own cool drink, like a french soda mostly soda water, a flavor shot (like vanilla) and a splash of 1% milk. Alot better for you and cheaper.

another bad thing at DQ is just about everything. (I used to work there) while it is all very tasty, it is all incredibly high in calories, fat, carbs and colesterol. The PB milkshake is nothing compared to some of them. I would advise just staying as far away as possible.

What if I work out regularly, eat right most of the time, and simply WANT ONCE to have something without regard for how many fat grams it has, or how many calories, etc? Heaven forbid I eat a banana split or have *gasp* whole milk.

Starbucks' Caramel Light Frappucino is just 180 calories for the Grande size. Just make sure no whip cream. They use Splenda for the mix and the rest is just ice and sugar free caramel sauce. It's a great alternative if you want one of those drinks.

I believe it should be illegal to sell these type of drinks, filled with fat and sugar and so dangerous for the health of people. We are already the fattest nation in the world, where is just a tiny bit of a sense of reponsibility of these corporations??? PLEASE BECOME VERY AWARE of what you are putting into your bodies, stop listenng to mindless commercials and ruthless money makers, think : FRESH, NON PACKAGED, ORGANIC!!!!!!
Best thirst quencher: WATER with fresh Lemons, and a whole lot cheaper 2

Thats disgusting.. to add, everyone thinks that the new smoothies from dunkin donuts are healthy and they promote them to be healthy, when they really aren't, they are about 345 calories for about a small! horrible.

This article is dumb. On Starbucks' website, they have all the nutritional values up there. Hungry girl failed to realize that:
1. The nutritional value that SHE has up there is for a grande frappucino with whipped cream. You can cut calories by getting a tall frappucino and having no whipped cream.
2. The average person that struggles with their finances probably can't even afford to have Starbucks everyday, so I hardly see what's wrong in indulging once or twice a month.
3. They have lite versions of all of their drinks.
