Thanks Lisa! You are THE BEST!!! Those Gerber baby puffs are really yummy. They satisfy the crunchy/sweet cravings. Thanks for all the wonderful work you do!

LOL I always use the same snacks for my lil Kali girl and it works great! Healthy, fat free, and does not ruin their time for dinner meals! But the best one of all is those cereal puffs my daughter loves them with milk and w/o too. I just love the different tast they have, and it's good enough for me to join in too.

Everything on here looks really good, except for the gerber puffs things. I tried them about a year ago, when my brother was eating them and I really did not like them at all. i must say that i have not tried them on yougurt or anything else yet, but from what I have triend I found they have no flavor. I really like everything else though!

The banana gerber babies are good...
but the sweet potato tastes like cat food...
or what I think cat food would taste like if I ate it. :)
I eat Jello pudding everyday for lunch.. it's just enough to beat that chocolate craving I have at noon.

There is so much misinformation about the food we should eat, namely that we can (and should) eat all the carbs and sugar we want as long as we avoid the "monster" fat. This is not true. Just look at how fat America is. It all started with the new food pyramid suggested by the Government which hyped this eating plan. All of the foods mentioned here are loaded with carbs and sugar. This is not good for anybody, at any age. Everyone, babies especially, needs healthy fat in their diet. The problem arises when you COMBINE fat and sugar (or carbs). Educate yourself, people, and take a look at some information on low-carb eating plans. Your weight will stabilize, you'll feel and look fantastic and you'll likely avoid heart problems and diabetes in the future.

I think that our bodies are equipped with a need for all different types of nutrients. That is why a well balanced diet is the most effective way to maintain a healthy body. If your body craves certain foods ( and the craving is not due to stress) you should listen to it and make a wise decision to silence the craving. Some cravings are your body's way of telling you that it needs something. Eat a healthy balance of smrt food choices, and you will see a difference. A lot of "wanting/craving" a certain food is from self-deprivation.
