OOOOO scary stuff, those blizzards! But-every once in awhile, there is nothing quite like a Reese's peanut butter cup blizzard....yummers. What about options at TCBY? We dont have a DQ anymore, no Ben n Jerry's, no Carvel. We have Baskin n Robbins but I would like to know if froyo is really as healthy as its name implies.

Just buy Dibs and eat a few at a time, this will save you from eating the entire scoop of something else. (at least eating 3 or 4 of them satisfy me...but I haven't checked the nutritional info.)

She left out one of the best: Golden Spoon!! A mini cup is a perfect portion, and it's only 1 pt. (for WW gals)... although with the way they serve it (piled high) I usually give it 2 pts. Still great!

omg Dibs are LOADED with fat, calories, and sugar, and a serving size IS only a few of them so it is ABSOLUTELY not a good alternative diet choice. if you are looking for something at your store, weight watchers, blue bunny, and skinny cow are all good tasting alternatives. also, edy's makes real fruit frozen bars, strawberry is the only flavor i know that has no fat

Cold stone offers light ice creams which vary by stores and are 70% less fat and 1/3 the calories of the other flavors and the taste integrity isn't compromised. There are also sorbets which have no dairy so they are nonfat, unfortunately packed with some sugar. Then there is also the non fat no sugar made with splenda that cold stone offers, however it lacks flavor too! But diabetics love it. There are fruits and nuts that you can get mixed it if you are keeping it on the healthy side. PLUS CS offers smoothies too which are pretty good as well.

Wow that is interesting but i'm suprised that she did not mention about goat milk ice cream, It's low in fat and calories and you can have it even if you are lactose intolerant.YUM!!

You should try Edy's Grand Butterfinger flavor ice cream...it is so good. It actually tastes just like the butterfinger blizzard from DQ, and it is fairly low in fat and calories. Yum.

If you're on a diet, what are you doing eating ice cream anyway?
I think this is ridiculous, this calorie-counting crap. If you are obese, then just stop eating junk and exercise (which is way easier said than done, believe me I know). Or here's a novel idea: Why not be happy with the way you are and enjoy food and enjoy life! If you just cut your portions down to a healthy amount, try to eat all-natural foods and keep active, you won't have to worry about anything. :-P
Besides, I couldn't live without Ben & Jerry's Half Baked! :)

Re: eating any old ice cream, enjoying it, and then exercising.
Have you seen all the reports re: obesity in America lately? Most people are not going to eat a small portion of ice cream and then run to the gym afterward. That is just not reality for our generation. I know, because it applies to me!
