I note that all of your snacks are "Healthy Versions" of junk snack foods. In my experience these do little to satisfy and still only leave you wanting more and therefore overindulging on "Healthy Junk Food". Can we not real healthy snacks like raisins, apples w/peanut butter, celery w/honey mustard? We need to change the way we look at food and why we snack. All these packaged "healthy" snacks are, no doubt, still filled with preservatives, fat and carbs. Take a look at your grocery cart next time you shop. Are most of your foods fresh or processed? If you answer processed you need to take a step back and rethink your eating habits.

If you don't like the posts, then why read them! HG is doing alot of people a tremendous favor by putting the news out about alot of great things. With HG's help and a big thanks to Weight Watchers, I've lost 27 pounds and am going full tilt to reach my goal. You sound pretty bitter - could it be you wish you had started a site like this?

I think HG is a fabulous. I am a woman who takes pride in being thin and in shape - but I would like a way to enjoy some snacks without them being full fat and sugar, etc. HG always has some great options, but what is most important, they are things I have never heard of and am happy to taste new things. Ignore the critics HG - LOVE the items you post. Fruit and veggies have their place, but so does tasty processed items. ;)

Karey D said it. Instead of trying to satisfy your hunger or urge to snack on junk food (healthy or otherwise), just eat something...wait for it...HEALTHY. How about some baby carrots? Some fresh fruit? If you're going to eat junk, eat it in moderation and save yourself for full fat and full sugar indulgences rarely instead of trying to satisfy your sweet tooth with fake food.

I think that you are all acting quite childish. This was meant to be nothing more than an informative article. Just accept the information & go on with your day. :-)

I agree - WHY does everything have to be online??!!
It is very difficult to find anything that is "good" for you anymore and affordable. It is actually cheaper to eat like crap! sad isn't it? I think that is why there are so many overweight in this country today. The less healthy, the less expensive - why can't it be the other way around??

The Gnu bars sound good if they are like fruit leather, but 140 calories does not sound exactly "guilt free" to me. I would rather eat celery with almond butter or pine nut hummus, or perhaps a rice cake or piece of fruit. I definitely prefer "crunchy" foods. Why must we search out so much processed garbage to feel "satisfied"?

I didn't find this article helpful. None of this food looked appealing and I would never buy any of it. I was hoping she was gonna talk about more normal food. I'll stick with fruit or Nutrisystem snacks.

Yeah, you forget to mention any chemicals that may be in these. Why can't people just appreciate the delicious flavors whole and natural foods offer? Junk food is junk food.
