There's 360 other days a year to cut out the fat, sugar, and good stuff. Didya forget tradition? Pumpkin pie with goat's milk, sugar, real butter in the crust, and topped off with rel whipped cream!!! But not until you've finished your turkey...crispy skin and all, real mashed potatoes all creamy with butter and whole milk, and giblet gravy full of turkey-drippins and cornstarch. I'll go back to spinach salad and baked fish on Friday.

I believe you should make food light and tasty. I also believe in spices and bursts of flavor. Spices don't put much around the waistline and they do help the pallet of the mouth. You can have traditional foods just use fat free and reduced salt and calorie ingredients. You keep trying though and when you figure out to please the mouth the rest will follow.

I think the recipes sound delectable, but I personally see them as more for everyday eating. The Holiday Season, to me, is a time to splurge on all the foods you don't eat as a matter of routine.
