There's nothing wrong with a little couch potato time as long as you've got some great, guiltless snacks on hand. And HG's got awesome options to suit your favorite shows!

Lost - Tropical Grilled Fruit Fondue

(1/4 recipe: 140 calories, <0.5g fat, 90mg sodium, 31g carbs, 3g fiber, 23g sugars, 5g protein)

This island-inspired snack would make Jack and Kate drool!

Ingredients:
1 cup firm mango chunks
1 large, firm nectarine
1 cup fresh pineapple chunks
1 small, slightly underripe banana
12 oz. fat-free vanilla yogurt
2 tbsp. fat-free cream cheese
2 tsp. no-calorie sweetener
1/2 tsp. coconut extract

Directions:
Cut nectarine and banana into bite-size chunks. In a skillet sprayed with nonstick spray (or on the grill if you've got one), grill all fruit on medium-to-high heat for approximately 4 minutes, flipping fruit halfway through. Fruit should be slightly browned on the outside, but still firm inside. In a microwave-safe bowl, combine yogurt, sweetener, cream cheese, and coconut extract. Heat for 45 seconds in microwave. Stir and microwave for an additional 40 seconds. Serve fruit and sauce with skewers or fondue sticks for easy dipping! Serves 4.

American Idol - Dreyer's/ Edy's American Idol Slow Churned Light Ice Cream

(1/2 cup: 110 - 140 calories, 3.5 - 5g fat, 45 - 60mg sodium, 16 - 20g carbs, 0g fiber, 12 - 16g sugars, 3g protein)

Dreyer's/Edy's has a whole line of Idol-themed ice creams. Choose from Choc 'N Roll Caramel, Hollywood Cheesecake, Soulful Sundae Cone, Take The Cake, and Triple Talent. And after you call the show to vote for your favorite contestant, head online to vote for your favorite ice cream flavor! (Psst ... Take The Cake is our clear favorite!)

30 Rock - 30 Rock Shrimp and Comedy Jam

(1/3rd recipe: 170 calories, 1g fat, 1,000mg sodium, 22g carbs, 0.5g fiber, 7g sugars, 24g protein)

A fruity-good time for everyone involved ... except maybe the shrimp.

Ingredients:
30 rock shrimp (or any type large shrimp); cleaned, cooked in boiling water, and chilled
1/2 cup salsa
1/2 cup Smucker's Sugar Free Preserves; Red Raspberry, Strawberry, or other
1/4 cup ketchup
2 tbsp. plus 2 tsp. hot pepper sauce

Directions:

Stir to combine all ingredients except for the shrimp. Arrange chilled shrimp on a platter and serve with the spicy fruity cocktail sauce. Enjoy! Serves 3.

Grey's Anatomy - Sweet 'n Salty Snack Mix

(Entire recipe: 200 calories, 8g fat, 300mg sodium, 35g carbs, 8g fiber, 9g sugars, 4g protein)

We thought the docs would appreciate this heart-healthy chocolate. And even if THEY don't, WE do!

Ingredients:
1 mini bag of microwavable popcorn; 94% fat-free kettle corn flavor
1 CocoaVia Original Chocolate Bar

Directions:
Chop chocolate bar into very small pieces. Microwave popcorn according to package directions. Transfer popcorn to a large bowl and top with crushed chocolate bits. Makes approximately 5 cups!

Prison Break - Smoothie Criminal

(1 smoothie: 75 calories, 0g fat, 0mg sodium, 17g carbs, 4g fiber, 11g sugars, 0g protein)

So good, it oughta be illegal ...

Ingredients:
8 oz. prepared Crystal Light Sunrise Classic Orange (made with 1/8th of a tub or 1/2 of an On The Go packet, or purchased in a ready-to-drink bottle)
1 cup frozen mixed berries (no sugar added)
1/2 to 1 cup crushed ice (use more for a more icy smoothie and less for a thicker one)

Directions:
Combine all ingredients in a blender and mix until well blended. Pour into a tall glass and prepare to enjoy the action! Serves 1.

Another snack that I've just come across is that new product of Pringles called Pringles Selects. They have a whole bunch of different flavors like cinammon sweet potato crisps and Sechwan rice crisps. They are so good!

Oooh, that tropical fruit is also good for SURVIVOR! Sometimes it's easy for me to forget that up until the proliferation of junk snacks in supermarkets, fruit WAS a staple dessert for many people. And this concoction is tempting and healthy at the same time. What more do ya need or want? ;)

It is very hard to eat just 1/2 cup of ice cream! My favorite very low cal munchie is popcorn cooked in a microwave dish (not from a bag). Spray with butter spray (0 cal) and salt to taste. Eat all you want for very low points.

Use stevia as the calorie-free sweetener, not any of the chemically processed subsitutes like sucralose (they're so bad for you!).

Beth...the Pringles Selects you are talking about are NOT low in fat or calories so they would not fall under the "Guilt Free" theme...they have 9mg or more of fat per serving and the servings are small...not a good calorie bargain. Angel food cake(zero fat) with berries and/or Hershey's Chocolate syrup(zero fat) is a yummy snack too!

Thank you for reminding me that eating healthy can be great tasting and really quick! For me and others, I'm sure, snacking is all about speed. No one wants to spend time concocting a complicated snack, we just want to munch.

Guilt free is a lie, specially if you know the amount of chemicals and cholesterol those things have. Do not trust these adds, the only natural and healthy snack as far as I know are fruits.

A king size Snicker bar, a bowl of extra butter popcorn and a big icy mug of rootbeer. Oh yeah.......... Ya only live once folks. I'd rather eat what I want and miss a couple of years than eat crap all my life for an extra year or two. Quality over quanity works best for me.

TV sucks. Why not eat healthy while playing a board game or reading a book!? Why encourage a sedentary lifestyle by offering food to go with it!? Stupid idea, way to go!
