New Fast-Food Calorie Violators

Check out these CRAZY-HIGH-CALORIE new fast foods we found. Hungry Girl WARNING: Avoid these fatty foes at all costs!

Burger King - Steakhouse Burger

950 calories, 59g fat, and 55g carbs!

You may as well have an actual steak if you're going to consume this many calories! Why is this burger so insanely fatty? Well there's the 368-calorie, 29-gram-of-fat patty, mayo, two slices of cheese, and a HUGE pile of fried onions... all on a massive doughy bun. NOT WORTH IT.

Carl's Jr. - The Kentucky Bourbon Six-Dollar Burger

970 calories, 49g fat, and 81g carbs!

You know that annoying ad campaign with the surgeon who thinks about bourbon all day long? Yeah, it's funny, but the idea of a medical professional (actor or not) chowing down this monster burger makes us cringe a little. A single sandwich with nearly 1,000 calories is soooo wrong. And not in that "so wrong it's right" kinda way. It's just wrong.

Jack in the Box - Mini Sirloin Burgers
748 calories, 29g fat, and 77g carbs!

For those of you wandering around singing, "Yippee-ai-ay, Mini Sirloin Burgers!" to yourself, you're not alone. But DON'T be seduced into chewing on these teeny burger-ettes. Sure, you get three of them, but they're REALLY little, so you're probably going to want fries and a soda with 'em. You're better off riding into the sunset with a Chicken Fajita Pita (328 calories and 10g fat).

Wendy's - Coffee Toffee Twisted Frosty

540 calories, 20g fat, and 83g carbs!

If the thought of adding coffee syrup to a Wendy's Frosty is enough to send you into a full-on swoon, brace yourself. And if your dreams are speckled with chocolate-covered toffee bits, prepare to pinch yourself. As good as this all sounds, it comes with a hefty price tag. This shake has more calories than the Triple Stack burger, which has three beef patties and three pieces of cheese. Fantasy OVER.

Taco Bell - Volcano Box
1,380 calories, 76g fat, and 133g carbs!

Why does this box need to exist? Does ANYONE need to eat a meal that consists of a double-beef burrito, two tacos, and a pack of Cinnamon Twists?! Do yourself a favor and stick to the Fresco Menu at The Bell, and don't consume most of your calories for the day in a single meal!

And check out these Scary-Easy Ways to Eat 1,000 Calories.

I hate the idea of putting that kind of garbage in my body. Just to not even really get satisfied. Fast food is killing us.

Hahaha, my friend (who is extremely thin, especially for a lethargic guy. Lucky boy has an insane metabolism) got the volcano box one day and inhaled it in about six minutes. It was horrifying.

Can't say I've ever found myself wandering around singing "yippee - ai-ayy, mini-sirloin burgers". If I did see anyone doing so, I'd keep a close eye on that person. That's just weird behavior.

I can't get the "yippee - ai-ayy, mini-sirloin burgers" song out of my head! I probably do walk around singing it all day long.

Fat and junk food is always a strict no-no on regular basis, though once in a while it is ok.

Wow, a Triple Stack at Wendy's has less than 600 calories? Ditch the top half of the bun and it's probably less than that. I am so there. Thanks for the tip.

EWWWW! Why anyone would consume ANY of the items on the list is beyond me. Those Frosty things sounded nasty immeduately as soon as I heard the "toffee" part... ew. I just don't get why they take something that is okay and completely ruin it. Gross.

A basic rule of thumb: if a burger (or any kind of sandwich) has so much mayo that you can see a thick layer of it (like that Burger King Steakhouse burger!) STAY AWAY FROM IT! Ihate coffee, so I would never get the Coffee Frosty thing anyway. And that Volcano box looks horrendous. D-=

Low fat, low sodium bread. Low fat mayo. Low fat cheese. Hey, here's a better and tastier way to eat fewer calories: Order the volcano and eat the cardboard box. MMM, Yum! Add a Coke Zero. No calories, but the sweetener destroys brain cells...wonder how many brain cells in a pound?

There is nothing wrong with eating fast food. Just pick the low calorie meals which is not easy because most of the meals carry a tremendous amount of calories. Just do not choose fast food for an everyday choice of eating your meals. Just treat yourself once in a blue moon and burn the calories off quick by exercising.

There is nothing wrong with a good juicy burger with all the fixins of course, in moderation!!!! Yeah these burgers fat content is ridiculous but if you only eat fast food every once in awhile, then even eating this shouldn't be a problem.

You can eat fast food...just not EVERY DAY! Just like you don't have Starbucks and chocolate and cake every day. Those are 'luxury foods' in my opinion. And that's the problem, imo... Ppl eat this mess like it's going out of style, they don't work out and then wonder why they're so big. When I first went to college we only had a Sbarros. I went back to finish my degree and there's a Subway, Taco Bell, Starbucks and Chili's, ET CETERA... on my campus in addition to the cafeteria food... I know of plenty who practically live out fast-food restaurants, i.e., students, singles, ppl who can't cook, ppl who don't want to cook, ppl who don't pack lunches, ppl who work out of their vehicles, etc... It's way too convenient. If you think that's bad, I know of children who are raised on a steady diet of Kool-Aid and 'Happy Meals'! And it's not their fault. How can you have lil ones and NOT even try to cook? I may ruffle some feathers, here -- but whatever...that is just a damn shame. No wonder kids are so fat these days. Poor things.

why don't you just list the items that are actually good to eat at those places, that would be a much easier list to make, and a far smaller one Also, if you're such a big calorie counter why not just cut any one of those burgers in half and only eat half one day and half the next, those don't look so unhealthy if you do it that way, you're all about cutting calories right?

We are all addicted to something and people become addicted to fast food. Too bad Whole Foods doesn't have a drive thru. It would be a big hit. But you have to watch the calories there too.

I like the comment about just listing the good choices at all the fast food restaurants. There are some decent choices out there. It is the temptation that gets everyone!! Good info. Thanks!
