One slice of pizza at Sbarro has THAT many calories? Wow. Looks like I might have to cut back on that place for a while. I wonder how many calories Sarku Japan has in their food. That's also a usual place for me. Thanks for the write up! :^)

OMG! Are we really that obsessed with counting calories and such! Now I understand you don't want to eat these items Every Day, but c'mon people! Once in a while Will Not Hurt You!!!!! And, before anyone posts about this, I am a quite healthy 32 mother of 2. Proper excersise and balanced diet go a long way without the hasstle of obsessing over counting calories and such.

Subway is in no means good for you unless you are eating the all veggie or chicken sandwich on the fake whole wheat roll. Even there whole wheat roll is filled with HIGH FRUCTOSE CORN SYRUP. Not to mention the sodium!

I believe best is eat something before you leave your house. As you will be full, and their would be no starvation.

Who cares, for the once a month I actually get to go out to the mall, I can totally afford to treat myself to something not so healthy. I get tired of eating fruits and veggies every day.

What a spoilsport.. It's not like you eat it everyday and aren't on foot whittling away at the extra calories you ate!

to suggest sugar free as in diet with artificial sweeteners is quite irresponsible considering aspartame is a poison. if sugar free means exactly that, no sweetener of any kind, then that is excellent advice. otherwise, advising someone about calories is quite moot when imparting deadly advice for drinks. bring your own is the best, no additives, msg, etc.

I am glad to see that I am not the only person on earth left that has a brain. Here is a great idea - STOP EATING SO MUCH. Thats why you are fat and unattractive. Eat like a person and not a goat. Exercise - stop shopping! people drive me nuts - how about this - we make being over weight illegal - punishable by death. Then lets see how many cows are stuffing their face with Lo Mein at the mall....

Before reading this article, just from the title alone, I thought that this article would show which food court fast-food place taste better in terms of a poll. I don't care about how many calories one food has as opposed to the other. It is always obvious what is healthier than the other. I am not on a diet. I just wanted to try something new that is good.

Subway is the worst garbage, the chicken looks like rubber and sits out all day. Ever hear of a salad? Many places will let you get a vegetable trio..theres the health food place they all have..delis have turkey sandwiches..indiuan...soup booths(no cream) its very easy

I have never understood why thet have food at the mall and why anyone would want to eat it. Is it because you are shopping for more that 4 hours? Really? The experience is gastly. Bad food, dirty tables, self serving, loud - just gross. Now, they are putting Taco Hells in Walmarts. Can't you get in and out of a Walmart withou needing to eat? No wonder America is so fat.

I know, why don't we just pack a bag lunch of twigs and grass for our trip to the mall! Would that be acceptable? Too much overindulgence?

There is a food court in a L.A. mall that has a place called Sorabol. It is a korean restaurant that competes against Panda by offering similar but much more healthy options than Panda such as brown rice and freshly prepared vegetables.

the problem is that people just want to be lazy and 'eat their way to fitness.' good luck doing that with no exercise... no need to count every calorie or fat per gram if you just get out and run

I can't believe the calories at Sbarro! Now I know food courts aren't the best place to stick to a diet (or eat healthy), but WOW. :)

I see some posts touting Subway and that is usually a good choice. But you need to be careful there. I was doing weight watchers so I went on line after ordering a "spicy italian" with Mayo, mustard and the rest vegetables it came up to about 1100 calories. I love subway, but you need to be careful there too.

I would of thought pizza of all things would be the way to go. I just had a few slices of thin crust last night. Great.
