Hungry Girl you forgot about Taco Bell! Many of their items come "fresco style" and end up not being too bad for you at all. Now if I could only stop at eating one or two tacos instead of the five that I really want! Moderation....

I agree, Debbie. I understand that KFC has very inhumane killing practices. I don't go there anymore, but I miss it!

You PETA people. IF the chicken is good, doesn't give me any diseases, and I don't choke and die, I really don't worry too much about what happened before they chopped up the chicken when I'm biting into what used to be it's chest, or tearing what used to be it's wing off. I'm not advocating people going around hitting chickens in the face with a board-with-a-nail-in-it, but it's called a slughterhouse for a reason.

Its amazing to me that someone gets paid to write an article about OBVIOUS less caloric fast food choices, as though she is providing some sort of ground breaking news. I mean, like someone is gonna read this and think to themselves "Oh my, you mean apples cut into the shapes of french fries don't have many calories?" Most of these offering are blatantly advertised by the chain as low calorie, its not like you have done any research into this.

I think I'll stick to the stuff that'll give a heart-attack for my fast-food experiences. What's the purpose of eating out if not to get all of those unnecessary calories?...

Lmao!! You won't eat at KFC because of the way they kill their chickens??? Are you kidding me? Your eating a dead animal, who cares how it ended up dead. That's like saying oh, could you please shoot me nicely? I don't want you to shoot me in an inhumane way... Killing is killing, dead is dead!!! Now pass the KFC and shut up!

The last I heard, chickens are meant to supply us with food (including their eggs). We mind as well just kill them swiftly and get it over with. There's no point in making it suffer. Yes, the chicken dies either way, but it's all sadistic if you LIKE hurting the poor thing. Fried chicken all the way! I had grilled chicken for dinner.

Am I imagining it or did McDonald's recently reduce the size of their yogurt parfait??? It seems much smaller, but it's still a dollar! I'm addicted to the parfait!!

Just to add to the chicken comments... PETA and others who refuse to eat chicken is primarily because of how they're raised, not how they're killed. The chickens do nothing but sit in a cage their entire lives (getting fat, supposedly) and in most cases fed steroids and other growth hormones. So are most chickens you buy at the grocery store. It is very inhumane. It's the same story with cattle, pigs, and almost every other animal humans raise to feed ourselves. I'm not advocating either side, I just wanted to clarify what debbie first mentioned.

I think you are supposed to stroke the chicken softly before you kill it. Tell it how much you love em'. I wonder if there is a humane way to kill a fish? Put it to sleep first?

So, one thing that confuses me, is the usage of the term "inhumane." To be inhuane, you are implying that the subject in question is human. But last time I checked, a chicken is not a human...
