I don't think the Subway steak and egg omlet sandwich is that bad. Its only 600 calories and 32 grams of fat. As long as you balance out the rest of the day with veggies and a lean protein source

I have no problem with HG sharing ideas and products. I appreciate it. Much of this has research behind it and - there is always freedom of choice not to mention common sense. A little hint - actually regular bacon has the same of everything as turkey bacon and much LESS sodium.

Some great swaps for breakfast (if you're not at home and ready to prepare an HG meal) are wheat toast with jam -- skip the butter -, oatmeal with no butter - use a tablespoon of brown sugar, egg white/egg beaters veggie omelet (almost all chains offer egg substitutes), cereal with skim milk, or mixed fruit.
I eat out for almost every meal and find plenty of healthy options.

I would think that one would understand what they are getting into when they decide to eat a ginormous breakfast. Just know what you are getting into and understand that you can't eat like that every day.

In other worlds, let me slam these foods so you will buy my stuff. I am leery of anyone who gives advice on the front end then tries to sell me something on the back end. Nice try.

For those unsure what HG (Hungry Girl) is, it is not box food - it is a collection of recipes for those who want low fat, low calorie alternatives. And I love their cookbook! I don't want the same heart disease my dad has but love to eat. These recipes give options. If you want comparisons, there is already a book out there called "Eat this, not that". Cheers!

I think the fyi is good
If you want to go out to eat and are dieting at least you know what your up against,if you really want it. enjoy it
I don;t get to go out to eat much so if I am going I already know I am up against.
Gee wouldn't it be funny if restaurants put the calorie count next to it

Everyone knows that eating out is something you need to do with cautions and once in a while is fine. Not everyone has the time to make everything from scratch everyday single day.

Someone by the Username "jackmehoff69"-yeah, funny if you're like 12-exclaimed, "How do you die healthy?" Well, let me educate ya: unless you are an immortal, everybody passes on at some point. Trans fat or no. Duh.
