No one needs another box of mystery chocolates! Especially considering a box of 20 assorted chocolates contains around 1,200 calories and 50 grams of fat! Yikes! Here are some fun guilt-free gift alternatives. Grab 'em for a friend, loved one, yourself -- or better yet, sneak a link to this page to your significant other (we're full of great ideas today)...

VitaMuffin Lovin' Hearts

What could be cuter or more delicious than Vitalicious' famous, 100-calorie, fiber-packed chocolate muffins shaped like little hearts?! They're almost too cute to eat, but too delicious not to.

Edible Arrangements Fruit Bouquet

Flower-shaped fruits?! They're amazingly cute and delicious, too. Just be careful not to overdo it on the chocolate-dipped ones. Edible Arrangements locations are popping up all over the U.S. Click here to see if there's one near you.

Truly Scented Candles

There's Chocolate Covered Cherries, Creme Brulee, Caramel...even Buttermilk Pancake and Golden Maple Syrup. Yum! Sniff to your heart's content -- just don't chomp on 'em. They're, um, made of wax.

Box of Petit-Fours

Wow! These look so much like the real thing you'll be DYING to swallow one. But these too are made of wax, so they're for viewing purposes only!

Spa Chocolat Gift Set

When you use this kit, complete with exfoliating sugared body polish, ultra-whipped cocoa butter body soufflé and a purifying face mask (all made with real cocoa, a dash of vanilla and a hint of nutmeg!), you'll smell yummier than the dessert cart at your nephew's bar mitzvah!

Todd Oldham Ice Cream Party

Ooooh...an oversized ice cream cone made entirely of carnations. How adorable! When the flowers are gone, fill the ceramic dish with some low-cal ice cream or pudding. Yum!

Victoria's Secret Pink Candy Flannel Pajama Set

Sweet dreams are pretty much guaranteed when you catch your zzzs in these classic flannel pjs studded with images of yummy candies all over 'em.

Gayle's Miracles Valentines Heart Box

You really can't go wrong with a box of 30-calorie truffles. These rich 'n creamy candies are insanely delicious and impossibly low in calories and fat. These are a definite must-chew. They even come in special seasonal heart-shaped boxes.

Treating your guy to a day at the spa would be nice (Massage, facial, pedi/manicure.) Treating yourself to a one hour weight loss body wrap would pick up your spirits as well. :0)

What about something you can really use that isn't pajamas or food. What about movie rental gift certificates (you and your man can go together) or movie tickets. Valentines is supposed to be romantic isn't it?

How about the not too expensive token "I love you" teddy bear (calorie free, and no hidden messages about what he thinks about your weight), and the most meaningful gift of all- TIME! A special evening or weekend spent together will be more memorable and appreciated. And if you are creative, the plan doesn't have to cost a dime!

one of my favorite is a 5 senses gift. Think of something that would thrill sight, sound, scent, taste and touch. It doesn't have to be all food. i'm thinking music, candles, a massage, wine and perhaps a photo

Love the 30 Calorie Truffle thing. I already ordered them. My wife is dieting like crazy right now and if I can bring home 1-point truffles for valentines day, I am a HERO!

How about just celebrate without food period! Massage/Movie/SEX..whatever....food doesn't need to be used for every single celebration. Jeez.

Why does it all have to be food-themed? Get more creative than that, hopefully your lover has other interest besides food. Music, movies, books, art, there are a million ideas out there that don't invove any calories, and mean so much more because you can show how much you know, appreciate and love your significant other.

Day spas are offering great deals on massages for couples. Some include stressless facials, foot rubs, lunch, candlelight and romantic music. Prices vary depending on the package and go from reasonable to outrageous. You'd spend that money on each other anyways. Great idea for your husband, boyfriend or significant other.

i think the fruit is a great idea!!! bc if you get a box of chocolates your going to feel fat after eating them wether you actually are fat or not. and if you eat fruit it will make you feel better plus its good for you!!!!

How about a simple letter or poem telling your other how much they mean to you. Sometimes we spend so much time showering our loves with presents we dont realize that small gestures such as telling them what they do for you is appreciated or how much you love them can bring the warmest feeling of all.

Great Ideas, but a little corny...Love and time together superceed any gift! Get creative, have a candle lit dinner, and a massage session for each other, or do nothing at all except hold each other and snuggle..Let your heart lead the way, not your pocket book and things...Things come and go, memmories are here and now, and they are what we make of them..

I am all for random acts of helpfulness in my house. Let me come home to a clean sink of dishes or a missing pile of laundry, surprise back rub.... Cheep, Easy, No Shopping!

I'd do something that's more personal than food...and less stressful on your wallet. If you're a musician, write a song. If you're a massage therapist, give a massage. Just give the gift of yourself and your talent/passion; that's the best gift of all. That way you both enjoy it.

I think Valentine's Day is over rated because it shouldn't be a once a year thing to tell that special person and show them how much you love them by buying them candy and flowers just on that day. This should be an every day thing.
