I am really impressed with this site and your reader comments. Please tell me what the substitute measurements are using pumpkin and applesauce for eggs and oil?
Many thanks,

It sounded really weird (the yum yum brownie muffins) at first and I thought the pumking wouldn't get all the cake mix moist but oh my goodness, it turned out really good. I'm a brownie and chocolate cake freak and these are goooood!

1. These are much better for you than the regular recipe, which is the point of the substitution of pumpkin for oil, egg, etc.
2. 7% body fat?? I would never wish to look like you. There are treatment centers for anorexia all over the country. A quick search for one would be better use of your online time.

OMG! Made the brownie muffins and they are incredible. Did melt some semi-sweet morsels with a tblspn butter and a splash of milk for icing. My son thinks chocolate is a food group so these are heaven sent. Thanks.

I have made the muffins at least a dozen times since I first saw this post. You can use any cake mix, not just Devil's Food, and they are all delicious. Sometimes I mix in really ripe bananas too.

OMG!
Once before I made the chocolate pumpkin cupcakes and they were just ok....however today I made this creation.
1 Spice cake
1 C plain nonfat yogurt
1 C pumpkin
2 t vanilla extract
1 t cinnamon (heaping)
1 t baking soda
1/2 t ground ginger
1/4 t nutmeg
Baked @ 400 for 20 minutes
These muffin/cupcakes turned out so fluffy light and delicious, I think I am in Heaven!

People stop drinking the hater-aid.....I want cake and I want it fast...sue me! So I have to workout 20 min longer tomorrow...so what? You health nuts seem cranky, perhaps you should eat a carb and get over yourself...lighten up! :-)

The chocolate cake recipe tastes wonderful if you ice with one container of frozen non dairy fat free whipped topping and 2 Tblsp. of peanut butter folded in.

This recipe I made last Thanksgiving but used Spice cake mix. My 3 yr old granddaughter loved them. I made them in a mini muffin pan. It was the right size for her and just a good size for adults snacking too! Making them this year also.
