I find pumpkin seeds (with husks still on) to be a fantastic replacement for potato chips etc when you feel like eating something dry and salty. They are really good for you and that includes weight loss.

this lady has NOT a clue of what she is saying! All those extra chemicals in the lo-fat, no-calorie foods!!!! SHame-shame! Keep it simple, eat CLEAN which means...if you can't pronounce the ingredients in it...DON'T eat it!!

Anyone that recommends Coke Zero should NOT be giving nutritional "makeovers".

It truly does help to start by cleaning out all of the junk food! I did & so far, it's working. It doesn't hurt to try, so... try it!

Wow. And I thought my homemade organic olive oil mayonnaise made with organic pastured eggs and my homemade whole raw milk yogurt and my lacto-fermented raw cabbage was good for me. I guess I'll have to change my ways and buy all this pre-packaged, processed food filled with empty calories, preservatives, artificial sweeteners, colors, chemicals and "other" additives to make sure I stay "on trend". Like hell.

yeah give up natural foods like eggs, for unnatural heavily processed sugared out crap. Just eat real food! Fat free anything is not real food because it has been processed to remove the fat. Fat does not make you fat. I eat full fat foods and have lost 60lbs since this summer.

People get fat from eating too much sugar and carbs. A little fat won't hurt you, and cleaning out your fridge is a waste of time.

The Yoplait yogurts and Jello puddings are full of artificial colors, preservatives, and splenda. Not exactly a healthy choice!

all the things listed are pretty obvious. the writer doesn't mention, however, that many reduced fat, no sugar, low fat, etc... stuff has lots of preservatives, artificial flavors and coloring, and a whole bunch of weird gunk that's not good for your body. May have no fat, but sure has a whole bunch of other stuff in it! Here's a better idea: Just don't eat whipped cream, syrup, pudding, or sodas. At all.

Great stuff unless you are allergic to sugar substitutes. Maybe you could give a girl a couple of suggestions for a situation where the individuals are unable to have sugar substitutes of any kind. They make my throat itch and swell and my tongue get spots and swell also. Can you still have the fat stuff if you exercise and burn the calories?

This seems more like a commercial than sound health advice. Marshmellows are fat free, should I stock my fridge with them? Probably not.

Horrible. Once again, HG is promoting all the fake, artificially-sweetened food substitutes. Any nutritionist will tell you that the real thing in moderation is WAY BETTER than this fake crap.

This article should be called "Turn your fridge into processed food HECK!". Eggs are not unhealthful foods! It's about controlling portions. The truth hurts, but it is. I eat eggs, butter, and real cheese, and I am slim. I know how to control my portion size, eat natural foods and get a workout! Chew on that, Hungry Girl.

Yes, these are all preservative-added, chemically-induced, rather frightening foods! I'd rather eat natural moose, caribou, ducks, and wild salmon!

i understand wanting to add healthy snacks into the fridge but it looks like we're just substituting high fat foods for those packed with tons of chemicals.
