In a fmily of 4, I can say that I am the one who eats chocolates the least but my wife, and our two lovely daughters could never resist milky bars, kisses, choco with almonds, etc...!This is just in time for the heart's day and what a brlliant idea you have offered me today. I can't wait to throw a choco-filled Valentine's party at home...

I like chocolate but i don't indulge as much as my boyfriend for 6yrs. He has been into chocolate so much that as a little boy he used to hide it under his matress in his room! Now he will eat so much of it (in any form) that he will get these huge knots under his skin...b/c he's allergic to it! He doesn't care, so I'd give him all the chocolate in the world if I could. He loves chocolate so much that my mother went out and bought him his own fondue fountain, with a recipe booklet with tons of ideas for chocolate fondue fountains. Talk about a chocoholic, it brought tears to his eyes he was so happy to get it, lol.

This sounds "YUMMY" and exciting... Although my friends and I are such diet freaks and this is a Great Idea for a cheat day! We can even make it a "Bring Your Date theme". Thank you so much! XOXO

I think that is a great idea especially for all our single girlfriends who hate Valentines Day for lack of a date that night. This is something I will do for my single friends.

the only thing that would make this better would be to decorate your place with lots of flowers...roses, but not red. pinks and whites and peaches, etc. very girly. and do it in ways that your guests can take little arrangements with them. Chocolate AND Flowers, What more could a girl want on V-Day?

Or you could use this Choclate Dinner Idea to create an atmosphere for yourself and your significant other and convert the evening to a romantic gettaway. I´ll let you think about the location because that has to be everyones special place...

last year i had a couple girls over and made fried chocolate ravioli with rasberry sauce - it was so good. just buy either pastry dough, and cut it up, or pre-cut wonton wrappers, then put nutella (hazlenut chocolate spread) in the middle, seal it and fry in oil until crispy. the sauce was just pureed rasberries, sugar and wine, heated or cold.

You can even envite your friends to bring their favorite chocolate recipe to share with everyone and send each guest home with copies of the recipes to make for themselves.

I doubt if I would ever throw one of these delicious get togethers but I sure would like to get invited to one! Chocolate is a necessity of life for me.

In 2006 I read many articles about the dark side of chocolate.
The Interntional Labor Organization and the U.S.State department reported widespread instances of child slavery and labor exploition on cocoa farms. The Ivory Coast is the world's largest cocoa producer. Chocolate is still being made with cocoa beans harvested by children in Africa working in unfafe conditions.
Hundreds of thousands of kids are handling dangerous pesticides and clearing fields with machetes. This has been going on for far too long; in 2001 The U.S. State Department reported child slavery on many cocoa plantations.
I only buy organic or fair trade chocolate. I do want the blood of innocent children on my hands.
