It's kinda like put whatever's leftover in the fridge onto the cheap pizza and then presto it's great.

This is the most stupid thing I have heard. You spend too much for the pizza to begin with and then put more money into more toppings that you add yourself? Kinda defeats the purpose. The pizza was already loaded with calories to begin with, now you want to add more? Dumb, very dumb.

Interesting, in that almost all frozen pizzas have "Do not add any other ingredients" written on the instructions, as they change the cooking time, and will also end up burnt if they are added along with all the frozen toppings when you start cooking. Even extra cheese can end up making the crust soggy.

Old news, a bit of hormel pepperoni, olives, and extra mozarella.

Those ideas work, or you can just pick up a phone and call for delivery and get a good pizza.

Something's lacking here; it's like upgrading a Ritz cracker. Just buy a ready-made crust and throw condiments on it. Creamy goat cheese, shaved gruyere, fragrant fresh basil, vitamin-enriched Velveeta...

Why try to doll up a frozen pizza? By the time you add all the extras, you may as well have bought (or made) something that tastes good to begin with. It's a bit like putting lipstick on a pig

"fixing" a frozen pizza is ok. But what is better is buying a gourmet take n bake pizza from Papa Murphy's pizza! It's fast, fun, not frozen, and just great!!!!

Aside from the fact that all of those sound like wretched culinary disasters, if you're the kind of person who keeps gourmet olives, sun dried tomatoes, figs, or any of the myriad of obscure cheeses suggested on hand, you probably don't have frozen pizzas in your freezer. And if you can afford "fresh buffalo mozzarella", you can certainly afford delivery.

How can veggies be a healthy treat when you're eating them on top of a fatty, calorie-laden sodium bomb of a frozen supermarket cheese pizza? Why not just buy one of those Boboli crusts instead?

You can make it healthier by taking some of the frozen cheese off the top before you add the healthier ingredients. I do this and it works very well and it's inexpensive if you buy in bulk. I also tend to buy only cheese pizza or at most pepperoni (i take a few off as well).

Another way to spice up a pizza is to sprinkle garlic powder, and or any type of spice of your choice ...also most store bought pizza could use a little more cheese ,and or toppings as others have said..

People have been doing this for years, and years, and years. Tell us something that every redneck living in a trailer doesn't know. The shame is they pay these "food gurus" any money at all to waste everyone's time.

As far as store bought pizza are concerned, it is not so much the topping that 's ick, it is the pasty, concerte-ish dough- foundation the ingrediants lay on-- that is so bad !!!! A Wooster Street pzza goer. Where? New Haven, Ct.

Nigel, try diced hot dogs and cheese of your choice. Sliced green olives with pimento add color. Also, sprinkling some Italian seasoning add heaps of flavor to any frozen pie.
