LMFAO ya, so what this author is trying to tell you is lie about everything you love in order to impress someone else, be your self ! dont listen to the this crap. If you like somthing eat it,be it , do it! if a perspective date doesnt like it it means you are not compatable. deal with it! be you and find someone who apreciates that, dont wait till you are married to be yourself! this is a semi irrelevent topic but the bottom line is, if you have to pretend just a little bit. its not going to work period!

get real....eat what you want! Are you trying to hide something like..."i like garlic?".....if your date can't handle it....then it's not meant to be.
Eating is a social thing....it's a way to relax with some one...not get uptight! Breaking Bread goes back centuries as a way to get to know people....don't make it something more than it is....or we all loose!

I think Dessert is perfect for dates; especially if you make them yourself. It's a great way to impress a girl. A few of my favorite recipes here. http://www.dailyyummy.com/category/pastries-desserts

if someone was really going to be that offended by the food i eat or the way i have to eat messy food (as if shes never seen it before) then i dont want to date her anyway...

this is stupid, if the person your on a date with doesn't like what or how you eat maybe you shouldn't be on a date with them! Plus once in a while everyone gets food on them, it's no big deal really!

Its not about not being who you are. It's about showing some class and respect. There's a time and place to have bad breath and be sloppy. The first couple dates...not so much.
