Crystal Pepsi?? New Coke?? perfect example of the failed decadence and over indugence of the 80's.

Where were you when I had my 80's movie and food night?! I was fruitlessly searching for that popcorn that would pop a "mystery" neon color. I opted for Cooler Ranch Doritos and Pop Rocks...perfect compliment to Better Off Dead and National Lampoons

Whenever I drive cross-country I look for the little jaw breakers in the purple box, but can't ever find them. Items are still around. ***Note...Tab is still around but has saccharin in it which causes cancer. That's why aspartame products became the rage.

I like this list but I just want to say I grew up in the 90's and loved gushers and fruit by the foot, and capri sun!

Tab cola was the original diet cola. Before diet coke or diet pepsi. It made it's debut in the 1960's. And is still popular in the Metro New York area. My sister swears by it. I always thought the stuff was awful.

I would guess that Megan is not a child of the 80's, or she had a really bad childhood. Personally, I found the list really entertaining. I lived on Lean Cuisine for a time. They were cheap, easy to make, and seemed to be good for you. Well, they did have some veggies in them.

Tab was known to cause cancer in lab animals....also in the 80's &90's cool ranch fritos and chilli and cheese fritos (which by the way are coming back).

I was in high school and college in the 80's--the big deal for us was the rise of Wendy's. The cool kids hung out in the parking lot and ate french fries with Frosties. We had Orange Julius too. The hot dogs were THE best.

Ed Levine...you suck. I click this article thinking it might have some validity to it...but I hate to break it to you, Equal is NOT a food. Its a sweetener. And Capri Sun is also not a food, its a beverage, along with TAB. Maybe you should have titled this article something different, and I wouldn't think that you're over paid and under worked.
