THAT WHITE CHEESE DIP IN MEXICAN RESTAURANTS IS NOT MADE WITH WHITE AMERICAN CHEESE IT IS MADE WITH MEXICAN CHEESE FOUND IN THE MEAT DEPARTMENT AT THE GROCERY STORE

Wow, this doesn't sound good at all. And what happened to all of the comments that were posted before? Too much negativity they all had to be deleted? I'm losing faith in you Ed Levine.

It sounds wonderfully delicious to me. He added bacon for goodness sake!!! All the animals...er sports fans in the house will go crazy with this simple recipe.

Bacon has no place on a nacho. Ground beef or shreaded chicken maybe but not bacon. Try scoops w/ refried beans in the bottom, then add a little meat and top w/ cheese and sliced jalapeno. I can't make them fast enough to keep everyone happy.

I guess this was copied and pasted from last year.
Pats and Giants aren't in this years superbowl.
Very typical of yahoo to have incorrect info.

Leave off the bacon and try spreading Frito-Lay bean dip on each large chip topped with a piece of sliced colby-jack cheese. Melt in microwave for about 40 sec. They are easier and healthier.

This is the "easiest" way to make nachos??? I like the list of ingredients but not the individualized canape approach... that knocks "easy" right out! Easy is throw the chips (not the scoops) on the cookie sheet, dump the toppings all over and throw them in the broiler. C'mon!

I have to agree with the_bald_one. His nachos sound delish! As for mueller, not everybody who eats nachos is fat! My husband is a twig and nachos are his favorite snack food, so grow up and stop with the labels.

these people bashing it are stupid.
seriously, they are nachos.
nachos are amazing.
the only thing outside the ordinary is the bacon.
which according to pretty much everyone i know, makes everything better.

I like the comment at the beginning:

Could have at least updated the blurb at the beginning. The Giants and Patriots? How hard would it have been to substitute the Steelers and Cardinals?
HILARIOUS!

Looks good HOWEVER.... I heat the tomatoes, bacon (& taco meat) with cheese Separate & then dip the chips. No Soggy chips & meat & cheese goodness on EVERY chip.

This kind of sounds like the one I grew up with. My mom put the cheese and the rotel into a crock pot and poured it over the chips. Much better than this. Also my mom did not put bacon on it. It's just wrong.

I agree with Mandi Fehn if you just heat cheese in a crock pot and pour it over chips is easier or heating the cheese in the microwave. Its a lot simplier
