Maggie's Manhattan roots resulted in an early over-exposure to dining out. Known as "the walking Zagats," she is never without a restaurant suggestion. Maggie’s career began as a bus girl at The New Moon Cafe, a Tex-Mex restaurant on Long Island. She interned for The New York Observer where she fact checked Moira Hodgson's food column. Thereafter, she worked as a producer for MTV, and went on to help launch an online fitness start-up. Maggie has written for DailyCandy, Julib, Thrillist, and Gusto. Although Maggie is hard-pressed to recall too many evenings when she hasn't eaten out, she swears she's a mean cook when no one's watching. Maggie's love of food world has led to a strong passion for celebrating the home cook and making great food fun, easy and accessible.
Maggie can't live without: A chocolate chip cookie for breakfast, miso-ginger wild salmon, York Peppermint Patties, her father's "homemade" soups w/ V8 juice, shao bing (Chinese flatbread), chicken paillard marinated in balsamic Dijon mustard sauce, soyrizo, and Boar’s Head Sausalito Turkey.
