I love to add a can of Salmon! Into real Mac N Cheese of course! (No powdered boxed stuff) I discovered this when I was low on groceries and had to feed my nephew who is a finicky eater. I knew he did not like sea food so I told him it was a secet ingredient, made agame of it! He was 8 at the time and ate 3rds on it! I now make it every so often. =^..^=

The best way is to add a can of tuna, half can of peas, some shredded cheese, and hot sauce. its an instant casserole and you probably have all of those ingredients in your pantry.
