Yea they sound good but none of them are even close to what I order when I get take out or delivery so the title is a bit misleading. Not many takeout resturants surve Curry around here. Now if you have a recepie for sezchwan chicken or know how to reproduce a pizza crust similar to Pizza Huts Im all ears

We make fajita pizza often and love it. If you are in a hurry you can get pre-cooked chicken and beef fajita meat. We also add about a quarter teaspoon of Cumin. As a variation, lay down a layer of refried bean first on the crust and then a layer of Salsa. (We found a peach, pineapple Salsa that is an awesome counterpoint to the onions, bell peppers, and chilli. It was exceptional.)

While I completely agree witht he concept, the recipes look a little lame. I have tried many a recipe for homemade fried rice, and nothing measures up. We eat takeout for the TASTE. Who can make pizza crust like The Hut? No one that I know. Thanks anyways...

No matter what toppings you use, a tortilla for pizza just isn't going to work. It's not even appetizing.

Takeout is for lazy people; this is why kids are fat. Mom's make the excuse, "I don't have time" - don't have kids if you can't give them healthy, home made meals. Takeout and eating out should be for special occasions...everyday takeout is a spoiled indulgence.

Is this how bad take out food is getting? All the asian recipes sound disgusting, they are overly simplified (in taste), and very unauthentic. Since when do we eat yogurt with only cinnamon coated chicken? Since when do we eat chicken coated simply in cinnamon? As for the 'easy' stir-fry recipe there is nothing in it! Traditionally stir-fry consists of at least a few (ie more than two) ingredients. Just one type of meat, rice and carrots do not make for a sufficient meal. If you're going to eat asian cuisines, please at least try to eat some that don't degrade our food. We take much pride in cooking good meals, its sad when ppl warp them into something so disgusting.

Oy. I'm all in favor of encouraging people to cook for themselves instead of ordering take-out, but these recipes aren't the answer. Take the chinese section, for instance. That sweet and sour chicken isn't faster than take out ... brown rice takes 45 or 50 minutes to cook. The moo-shu shrimp is a heart attack on a plate, with 38 grams of fat per serving. And that "easy" chinese stir fry? The main flavoring ingredient is Kraft Balsamic vinaigrette! Oh, please ...

I know I've been cooked with coconut milk & shrimp and it taste great. Invite friends and cook together, you will have great time and experiment new ways of cooking. If food looks good it has to taste good if you believe in yourself presenting it.

ok i've had pizza from good resturants but i VERY RARELY have pizza hut or dominos or places like that, i'm gonna make the one's you wrote (or try to make them) and to the people that like brick oven pizza, try cooking pizza over a bon fire, IT'S REALLY GOOD!!!!!!!
