Great recipes. I had a cookie recipe for Nut Logs that I lost, wondering if anyone knows of it. The recipe called for Sweetened Condensed Milk and pecans, the consistency was alot like Russian Tea Cakes only in a log shape and rolled in powdered sugar. I really miss these cookies. I appreciate any help you can provide. Thank you in advance......

How do you make the frosting for the gingerbread cookies? Do you use the same ingredients that you use for the cookies...jello? Or do I need to buy separate frosting for the gingerbread men? This will be my first time making these so I would really appreciate some feedback. I would really like to make them right for my little girl. Thank You:)

These are good recipes but i have a few of my own to add they are waaaay easy and cost effective as well. Peppermint bark: you'll need two pounds of almond bark (white chocolate bark) and two packs of candy canes (full size regular ones usually .88 per pack) Melt the chocolate in a double boiler on stove top using low heat, while that is melting using a food processer (or blender on a low speed) crush candy canes. Once chocolate is fully melted stir in candy. cover a cookie sheet with wax paper and pour mixture on to cookie sheet. Place in fridge till hard and break. Total cost is around 3-4 dollars!! Next is S'mores ingredients: one box graham crackers, one bag large marshmellows, and regular chocolate bark (or one bag of semi sweet chips. Break graham crackers in half then in half again. cut marshmellows in half. Melt chocolate in double boiler on stove top. place marshmellow on top of graham cracker using a small dot of chocolate as "glue" then place the whole thing into chocolate till covered. using a fork take the "S'more" out of chocolate and tap off extra chocolate place on wax paper let harden. total cost around 4-5 dollars. For a double boiler (if you don't own one) use two pots that are similer in size one with water "about a quarter full" for the bottom place the other pot on top turn on low heat. You can also use any heat resistant glass bowl you may have for this. hope someone foud thses to be fun and easy to do! These are also good ones to let kids help with just watch them with the double boilers they are HOT!!!
