uhm... Recipe #5 IS vegetarian... not only that, but if you replaced the Mayonnaise with Vegenaise, and either skip the feta (which i would do as I don't like saltyness) or use this vegan "feta" recipie (http://veganfeastkitchen.blogspot.com/2006/04/new-improved-quick-tofu-feta.html) then it's Vegan as well.
I also plan to use the scewer recipie vinagarette on roasted veggies, and eat the fish and shrimp dishes, as I'm technically a pescetarian, a vegetarian who eats fish.

I am not a vetegarian. However, I only buy and eat certified humane meats when I eat them in moderation. And for the guy who said "how do you get protein?" Beans, Nuts, Soy, Tempeh, etc. There are many ways to get protein without meat. Most of you seem unaware of how disgusting factory farms are. If you want to eat an animal that has been fed it's own kind and kept in it's own feces in a tiny space then slaughtered just so you can have "dinner" then you do that. But think about the life you are taking. Respect life. Don't support factory farming of animals.
I find it odd how people are ignorant to what to eat for health. We have endless information especially with the internet so get out there and school yourself about the meat industry and see for yourself why people choose the vegetarian way of life.

For all the complaining vegetarians, get over it! There is a vegetarian option. And, not every food article is going to be written with you in mind. Buy some vegetarian cookbooks, go to vegetarian sites. I was a vegetarian for years, I'm not knocking it. But being whiny and boo-hooing about there being meat in grilling recipes (no way!!!) is lame.

Is the 5th one made with meat at all??? People commenting on how there are no meatless options here, but it's called a veggie sandwich. So clearly, there are options for vegetarians here. WTF

Wow, will you all just get over yourselves. Eat meat or don't. It's your choice. Good health means mix of carbs, protien, fruit and veg, include plenty of fluids and exercise and wow, there you go - a new lifestyle. p.s thanks for the recipes Maggie

You morons answering to the first comment... its a generic advertisement for a website... not someone personally writing a comment. 2nd... vegans... get a freaking clue. You're not proving anything by not eating meat. You're not healthier because you don't eat meat. How many supplements are you taking to make up for the nutrients you are missing from not eating meat? Grilling is one of the most healthiest ways to cook. Just dont overload whatever it is you are grilling with sugary sauces. Spicing things properly and creatively goes along way on the grill. And the other comment, almost bragging about some "concoction" of shrimp on black beans spiced with cumin... give me a break... there are alot more things to do with black beans alone, that do not add fat or carbs or sugar or whatever, that would be alot better than plain black beans and cumin. Don't get on here and brag about recipes when they're plain and boring.

My My...Grilling is a better way to cook as the fat cooks off the meat and I see fish here too. Fish is allowed for you vegetarians.

Meat is so delicious no matter it,s prepared. However, I stopped eating meat and i lost 5 kilos and 5 inches in the belly. Nope, i am not vegetarian for I love salmon, blue fin and milk fish. I just take more veggies.
Shrimps? Wonderful, but look out for your high cholesterol, it blocks the veins and arteries leading to strokes. And if can't resist shrimps, just remember they're the cousins of cockroaches.
Oh, yes, the doctor said, "Take a walk to office each day" or "Take a regular walk in the neighborhood and your discover beatiful friends."

Comment #6 I've lost without killing myself in a gym or jogging myself into knee surgery. And yes some foods are worst for you than others, especially highly processed foods full of high fructrose corn syrup and things most can't even pronounce. Get a grip and go eat a burger.
The are great recipes, I can't wait to try the Salmon.

I love plants so much that I eat the animals that eat my beloved plants. Like big dumb cows, mmm, tastey!
Buffalo, birds of all kinds, porky pigs, and all kinds of dolphins, manatees, baby seals.....I'll throw darn near anything on the grill.
I'm also the spokesman for the Burn All The Styrofoam You Can Find program.
People, please..... lighten up the pushing of political views on these messages boards.......love freedom instead.....including the freedom for others to choose ther own path.
