My Mother-in-law had frozen whole chickens, skinless chicken breasts, from 2-05 in her freezer in the garage. Would they still be good?

I'm surprised nobody's mentioned using their copy of I Am America (And So Can You!) as a juicer. :)

So long as the freezer works CONTINUOUSLY OVER YEARS---look for freezer burn (dried out areas of the skin) discolored, reddish areas on chicken, you should have no problem if you stew or make soup out of the chicken. Fresh is best for frying and salads. Freezing is for times of plenty or low prices only, or if you have a tight schedule and can't go to the store often or you are without good transportation. Throwing food away should always be an indication you are not handling your budget well. Many, many people have to eat foods which are partially spoiled or need to be washed in detergent and thoroughly rinsed and people with in adequate refrigeration are more numberous than you think in America. Survival and adequate nutrition come first. Worry about bellyaches only if food is carelessly handled and not completely sniffed and washed before cooking and eating... lots of hungry people out there would love to have what YOU have! So many choices when you have more than a hundred a month to spend on food!!!

Or you can take the chicken and stuff it then freeze it for another 3 years. The the chicken will be five years old and you can have a birthday party for the chicken. You can invite all your friends to enjoy this momentous occasion. You can probably pick up some stale bread, some old wine and cheese and maybe some moldy party favors.

The breville is way over priced for what you are getting. Walmart sells the same type of juicer for $30 you can then spend the other $120 on oranges to go with your new juicer!

and exactly how much money would you be saving versus the risk you would be taking on whether the 2 year old chicken is any good?

the way i see it there are two options: 1)buy an overpriced juicer then eat the chicken so u die and leave ur debt to ur family 2)buy a cheap juicer & new chicken and still have extra money. i vote two.

So why did we even ask a chicken question on a juicing article anyway??? Go to Yahoo Answers and post your chicken question in a relevant thread...and personally I wouldn't buy a juicer or anything else from Wal-Mart. They suck.

I want to start juicing a variety of vegetables, thereby eliminating my need to go to the store to buy V-8. My husband wants to start juicing potatoes, and cabbage, and make his own variety of juice. Where can I get an industrial juicer to fill all of my juicing needs?

find a alligator and toss the chicken to him, or some snapping turtles in a river will take care of it, also cat fish.by the way just go to MEIJERS and buy some damn good juice in the milk section.

Breville juicer for about $145.00 (look for 20% off coupons at Bed, Bath, and Beyond) It is better than the name brand juicer that advertises around $99-119. worth the extra money. you can juice fresh red beets and sweet potatoes, very quickly. so it will take on any veggies/fruits.
