Stylish Recipe and Menu Organizers

If you are anything like my friend, an obsessive menu planner, this could be the answer to your organized little prayers. Russell + Hazel have come up with something we here at Daily Olive can't get enough of--a functional, organizational yet attractive piece of modern kitchen-ry.

These recipe binders could become the cornerstone of your planning and prepping process, and they look good enough to display on your counter. Each set comes with two in your choice of white/charcoal or blue/red, filled with recipe pages, menu pages, and recipe cards.

Each menu page has a tear out "shopping list" section, making it terribly easy to plan for your meal. The oversized recipe cards fit perfectly into the French-inspired, "message board" style pages, which accommodate all different sizes of cards, cutouts, and clippings. Perfect for the magazine-ripper AND the careful note taker.

Final Word: Forget two, we want all four.

These are Very nice however, the PRICE is Way to high for what you get. I use a three ring binder with plastic card covers and three ring punch. I spent about $25.

The style does not live up to the price. I would rather make my own.

These are totally lame. A good recipe card is 3x5 index in a small metal box to hold them. About $10 bucks at any Office Depot.

These are pretty, but far too expensive for any reasonable person to buy. I'm sure there are others out there that are just as nice.

This column needs an update. This post is one year old. I was excited that Yahoo put together an online food magazine, but now I'm really disappointed.

The cost is way too much with the economy. I have my own binder that has these plastic page covers. You can great supplies in the discount stores and office supply stores. I use a recipe site for my menu's. Take a look at the free menu planning on: http://www.recipelink.com/surf4supperall.html This service is free too!

Totally ridiculous. Go to Walmart, buy a 3-ring binder, some clear plastic sheetholders, and voila. For about $10, you can do this on your own.

$60.00 for a binder??? Seriously? You can buy any old plastic binder at the store for about $2, along with a couple plastic page covers and some separating tabs and you pretty much have the same thing. Anyone who owns a computer can make and print outsimilar sheets. I'd rather do that little bit of work and spend a total of maybe $10 than buy those binders which are a $60 rip off.

Also...Why is it that almost every thing in these posts is directed towards the ridiculously rich? I mean seriously, the only people who can afford any of this money wasting crap is rich people. Your average American is not looking to spend $60 on a recipe binder. Why don't they ever post anything a little more realistic?

Pressure Canner is a great way to lower your food bill and feed your family, because of that pressure canner is use in the home were extensively. Pressure canner is needed if you want to can low-acid foods such as red meats, sea food, poultry, milk, and all fresh vegetables with the exception of most tomatoes and you definitely need a pressure canner for anything containing any meat. Home canning of meats is even recommended, even with a pressure canner. So, i have some info and products about pressure canner, pressure canning, pressure canner cooker and more that i could be able to share with you if you have it :D Cheers, Pressure Canner
