Although many of you think this sounds "gross," it was really delighful. Keep in mind that you dont use the ramen spices... you just use the noodles. My boyfriend prepared it with shrimp, red chili flakes, and chili gralic sauce to the peanut sambal. It was good... kind of weird.. probably wouldnt make it again... but worth a try... Good luck!!!

Ok you guys.... There is a huge difference between peanuts and peanut butter. Its kinda slow for all you little kids to say yuck when every food you eat is laced with peanut oil. That is all your fried chicken, french fries... Fast food and processed food. Learn how to cook... Make this recipe... and then say mmmm becuase it is good!!

I think it's slightly funny that there were two guys that decided to leave a comment out of 4547. And the one besides myself left a comment that had "ewwwww" in it so I don't know. Ramen noodles rule.

I wish people would not use this as a place to post their personal taste but instead post whether or not the recipie is worth while. For those few who tried it and posted their view on the actual food. Thank you.

Those of you who said YUK ( among other things) need to just stick to your big macs and chicken nuggets. Most of you that said unflattering things probaly haven't even tried it, you just like to say nasty things. This is wonderful, and I will fix it often!!

I would try it. You people are so closed-minded saying gross, you'll never get through life disliking everything you see.

Sounds like a ridiculous amount of work to call this a mere " dress up" for Ramen Noodles. The author should name his recipe and go with it, don't hide it behind a cheap high sodium instant soup base product. Personally, if that were the case, I would choose a better to manage healthier style noodle to use such as the soda noodles one poster commented. I recently discovered a delicious similar "instant soup" called "Udan". Its a japanese noodle that is incredibly delicious and has a superb texture. People repulsed at the peanut thing? Yes, peanuts are an awesome topping on many of stir fry style dishes. I love it with Hunan or Thai style sauces. anyway........... just my 3 and half cents. :-)

Come on, Ramen can be tasty, but only if you do it the right way. Start of by cooking your Ramen the normal way. Then after cooking it, you don't have to eat it right away. You can add some soy sauce, a teaspoon of Hoisin sauce, and just stirfry it, or you can add some spring onions and fried garlic in a wide, small bottle and top the ramen with that! For once, don't say ramen is gross. Try to figure your own ways to cook it. If you have Mexican roots, add some taco seasoning and see how it tastes like. You just have try it and see how you like to season it. You just never know...

I absolutely hate peanuts, except in my ramen. Can't have enough of it. You got the crunchy peanuts and bok choy, but the noodles make it, how would you put it? Smooth tasting. The only thing I took out was the corn, and the iceburg lettuce. I just doubled up on the Bok Choy. And for all of you chinese food haters, if you have been to Panda Express, they put peanut oil in their chow mein. Only difference between this is that THIS IS REAL CHINESE FOOD!!!!

Everyone here says yuck. You guys are so sheltered from what real Asian cuisine is. Majority of Asian food has peanuts on it, in it, or as a side sauce. So get out of the Chinese take out rut and try some real Asian food.

The fools who said gross or nasty w/o even trying it must think haute cusine is eating their Big Mac on an actual plate and not in the cardboard box. I've made a dish very similar to this and it came out wonderfully

I agree with Bob! If you don't like the idea of the recipe, then don't read it, and certainly don't leave rude comments like "gross!" or "that sounds disgusting!"

I crave ramen (not this way), but I usually cook 6 packs of noodles, drain the water, add 3-4 packs of the seasoning, minced garlic, cayenne pepper, butter (sometimes olive or sesame oil)and sprinkle in parmesan cheese. The two of us eat it for a couple of meals and I love it! Sometimes I add leftover veggies or whatever...if it's gross, who cares...it's cheap enough to throw out if it's that bad.

It really bothers me that so many people reviewed this recipe without trying it. I rely on the reviews to get an idea of whether this recipe will be good to try. Fortunately, I scrolled down and found reviews from people who had actually tried it rather than a pack of semi-literates who had just read it. It's not bad and I thank people who have actually tried and THEN reviewed this recipe. If you haven't tried it, don't cast aspersions on the person who took the trouble to share their recipe with the rest of us. My mother took the time and trouble to explain that if you can't find something nice to say, you can always say thank you. I'm sorry that other mothers have not been able to do the same.

all the people saying "gross" sound so ignorant. im ashamed on behalf of humanity to know theres such close minded people walking around. this sounds good....if it doesnt sound good to u, try it first, then state your opinion as to why. "eww" and "gross" are reserved only for 2nd graders.
