Lately I made a Japanese coffee jello with sweet anko beans. Coffee jello is a Japanese dessert. In Japan, its usually just coffee kanten (jello) or anko kanten. The two combined with sweetened condensed milk is a Japanese-Hawaiian recipe. I love it! I grind beans to make coffee then make the jello and add the anko. Its great!

That's not much different than a hot buttered rum. It sounds delightful to me. I have some Ethiopian coffee at home I ordered from Gevalia and it's delicious.

That's nothing new... When I dunk my buttered roll in my coffee, some butter melts and floats on top. I've always liked the way it tasted. Butter is really just cream that's been churned... same amount of fat.

I loved the coffee we drank in Brasil. It is brewed very thick and served in a small cup and I only took it black yet it was still very sweet. :)

Anything with a lot of butter taste good. We are biologically designed to like the taste of fat (to keep us alive) - since fats has more calories.

If you really want a great preparation for coffee, as odd as it may sound, I actually prepare a mixed drink where I pour hot coffee over an absinthe spoon with a sugar cube on it, and then one shot of Bacardi 151 rum, or Bacardi Gold. If you can handle it, the spiced rum adds to the pleasant aromas of a good cup of Irish Creme coffee. The other more obvious preparation is Kahlua poured over vanilla bean ice cream and blended with a cup of cold Blue Mountain from Jamaica.

That would probably make it taste very similar to Ipoh White Coffee from Malaysia which is produced by roasting the beans with margarine. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ipoh_white_coffee

I like my coffee best with 6-7 scoops of sugar and 1/4 milk or the flavored cream. I also like my coffee warm and not hot. This way I can drink it down in just a few huge sips. I have one cup of coffee like this, maybe once every six months. To some coffee is a daily experience for me it's a rare treat.

Just the thought of having a film of greasy floating on my coffee aftet the butter melts,is enough to encourage me not to try it. No thanks. I will drink my coffee the old fashioned way. With cream and no sugar.

In the winter, as a Child, I would dunk buttered toast in hot cocoa, the excess butter would swirl on top of the cocoa, gave it a rich mouth feel. Butter is only churned cream, makes sense to me,
