Quit fretting. Go to the grocery store, pick up some apples, oranges, bananas and other fruits in season. Eat salads. The magic is already on the shelf. Don't tie yourself up in knots trying to follow the latest FAD. My grandmother lived to 96 years-old. She grew her own food in her back yard. Most of her life she lived on a farm and cooked sausage, eggs, buscits and gravy for breakfast. My grandfather always insisted on a big dinner with meat (which he raised). He lived to 90. He smoked cigars, always had one in his mouth. They had a wonderful sense of humor--they loved people and never said no to those in need. THERE IS THE MAGIC OF A LONG LIFE. If they had only known about all this cholesterol stuff they might have lived to be 110. Too bad.

Quinoa is a complete protien. Did they mention this? Important.
Macha tastes like hell. I would rather die a few weeks earlier.
Surfers look good because they have to paddle out and on the wave.

Though I wouldn't suggest drinking Jamba Juice's Matcha Green Tea anything or their Acai smoothie. I worked there and know EXACTLY what goes into them, and it's mostly nothing but sugar, and a little fruit. Since when was 12oz juice and (at least) two scoops of sherbert considered okay?

I eat quinoa because I have Celiac disease and cannot tolerate gluten... I think your data on the calicum content of quinoa is incorrect. My 1/4 (before cooking) cup for breakfast contains only a small percent of my daily calicum needs...

If you want to get the maximum benefits from matcha,or green tea for that matter, drink it straight. There are a lot of bogus beverages that have jumped on the green tea bandwagon. Sugar and high fructose corn syrup negate the health benefits. Drink it straight!

I remember a friend of mine, a doctor, used to say that there is no such thing of balance diet... But the most important thing of all is hapiness and balance in life. If you able to have a balance life you should have everything equally beautiful. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
