    very glad to get this info, I eat bran just about evey day through the week, some fruits and some vegies, but exercise and plenty of water helps to detox me. Now I have maybe better options.

Obviously, you aren't. but have a nice day and don't take life too seriously, Just remember---people who eat health foods, don't smoke and drink or think bad thoughts--DIE just like the rest of us!     buy the low sodium V-8, it has only 6% of daily allowance of sodium, vs. over 30% daily allowance.

    I find it interesting that this site constantly pushes unhealthy meals and heavily processed food, then posts a blog on the 10 best detox foods. I guess we're suppose to eat all the crap that you push then, detox from it?

    6 ounces of prune juice in the morning is a great detox for your colon. It also keeps you "movin" throughout the day.

    To gene r, for your information Oprah has a thyroid problem. If you ever get fat and lazy and just don't feel like yourself anymore, it's your thyroid. Same thing happened to me and I ended up having surgery to remove one of those darn things, but now I am on the verge to lose all the weight I've gained, Hopefully!!

    Get the LOW SODIUM V-8 if you're going to drink it. It doesn't taste as good as regular V-8, but it has less than 1/2 the sodium.
