Just set your mind to do it. If you arfe not willing to watch what you eat it's never going to work. I love sweets and it was so hard to let them go, but i realized that i don't have to cut them off completely, just lower my intake.

Whole wheat bread & pasta, no soda, plenty of water, grapes, almonds and peanut butter onhand at all times for snacking. Have low fat frozen yogurt or sherbert instead of ice cream - salsa and chips instead of potato chips. Eat slower and stop to see if your full before finishing your plate

cutting down on sweets and carbonated drinks coupled with walking a mile a day is the best thing. its guaranteed a good outcome. hope you can do it. lots of determination is needed.

I walk and I exercise but I don't lose a pound! I don't eat bad either, can it be that I am in my 50's and my metabolism is just very low? Any suggestions on how I can boost it? I heard Flaxseed sprinkled on my food will help. If anyone my age has any suggestions I would greatl appreciate it.

eat with small portions.. eat slowly.. it takes 20mins for the stomach to know that you're already full.. so if you eat fast, you may still be eating eventhough you are really full. eat slowly every meal

dont forget junk food and especially packaged ,and cooked packaged foods.You pay more and has tons of salt sugar ,and preservatives..dont be lazy and do it yourself .it taste better anyway..
