i don't think they are saying that a burger every once in a while is wrong...they are just trying to tell us what to add to our diet to help with energy and mood. i like this kind of info, especially this time of year when it is easy to feel blah...

Fig Newmans? Ha ha! Is that an East Coast thing or something? I thought they were called Fig Newtons.

Good article. And most of it sounds pretty tasty to me too. I already eat a salad of spinach and baby greens nearly every day.

Hey Kristin - Fig Newmans are the same as Newtons - They're just made by Paul Newman's company. He's made all kinds of products over the years like popcorn & salad dressings, many all natural, and he donates all of the profits to charities. Since Mr. Newman lives on the East Coast, you could kind of say it is an 'East Coast' thing...but I see his products in L.A. all the time. Try them, they're good!

Spinach can cause 'uremic' poisoning in men in the kidneys. Which left untreated can lead to [ Ouch! ] the formation of kidney stones! Much more, anti-oxidant abounding than spinach in this food family type is: kale, mustard greens and Kelp. God Bless, Joe
