Since I'm a major ranch lover (and don't like any other dressing than Olive Garden's Italian) I often will add water to my bottle and shake it up good before using it. This thins out the dressing and allows it to go further. I still get the same great taste and cut back on some of the calories. Croutons are always great! Yum..yum... hope this helps!

One thing I use instead of croutons is wheat n' bran shredded wheat. Crunchy with virtually no fat.

Hey, I'm with Knightdancer. Thanks for making me laugh. I agree with you. Life's too short to worry so much. With the way the world is today 70 years is more than enough for me, so go for it -- enjoy while it's there to enjoy! I never worry about What I am eating; only with how much. I just don't overeat.

Everyone is different. Some will eat unhealthy smoke and drink and see 95 while the next guy is lean exercises and eats a strict healthy diet and dies at 30. I'd like to see my kids grow up. Besides the same old salad gets old. Why not try something new. You might like it. Great suggestions for healthier eating!

Iceburg lettuce has gotten a bad rap. Do your research people, it does have some very good health benefits. And remember, everything in moderation!

well my take is this: if you want to be healthy or lose the extra pounds this article offers some helpful advice, but I agree with the guy up top- only go out on special occasions and eat what you want. Another good piece of advice a friend gave me was to eat right during the week and have what you want to eat on the weekends! that works 2
