    Best thing this author states is: moderation. One can per day won't hurt, while 21 per day is obviously bad. Yes, we know it's not natural, but people who drink it enjoy the taste, and probably justify any ill effect. There are very few people who can honestly claim to consume ONLY natural foods and beverages.

    I've been drinking Diet Coke for 25 years ... I did have to start drinking caffeine free due to RLS (Restless Leg Syndrome) ... so there are side effects ... I always seen tired and have some other issues mentioned in other articles as well ... but I love the stuff ... I've cut down from 6-7/day to 1 or 2 a day, but I can't seem to stop altogether. I will certainly attempt to drink more water.

    I love the comment "Aspartame is one molecule shy of being paint thinner" in Post #22. Maybe we should all stop drinking water (H2O) because it is one atom away from being Hydrogen Peroxide (H2O2). Think before you post please.
