I have found nothing better than cucumbers on my eyes when they feel tired. It always purks me right up. I will have to try those other remedies though.

For those of you who have used any of these methods-does it last for any length of time? I am in my mid-fifties & have puffy bags every day. I work 12 hours a day & have tried several things-but nothing has diminished the bags-including sleep!Does any of the methods REALLY work? Please emails @ LASH0101@YAHOO.COM

Not too sure about chamomile tea... chamomile tea is brilliant for shining blonde hair... green tea is good for soothing irritated skin... however, plain old tea bags (chilled) are GREAT for puffy eyes. The caffeine reduces the swelling! (Coffee grounds wrapped in paper towels works too, it's just messier!)

Hello,
I am 42 yrs old and have tried everything under the sun for perfect skin remedies. I will highly suggest reading Dr Perricone's books. I learned that what you eat will clear up your skin and using DMAE cream will lessen dark circles. It's helped me so much - had to share!
Hope this helps you all! You can email me at stelaine_99@yahoo.com.

I don't get how a milk bath will help your eyes, I think they should have been a little more thorough with their suggestions because you can't title the page "3 Cool Ways to Revive Tired, Puffy Eyes" when a milk bath won't it should have been "3 Cool Ways to Revive Tired, Skin"

I have dry eyes due to Graves/thyroid disease, depending on what I eat, I sometimes end up with swollen painful eyes. I frequently just soak a wash cloth in really cold water and lay it over my eyes. The wetness rehydrates my eyes, and cools and reduces the swelling. Also helps if you have a minor headache. Fall asleep for a while and you wake up with less puffy eyes...but don't forget the moisturizer around your lids afterwords. Anti-puffy products do work. Try what works for you. Usually the more expensive ones do a better job. I use a product I sell and have good results with it.

I've never tried any of these methods but I can tell you that Preparation H (cream) works great too for swollen eyes. Rub it under your eyes and you will see the swelling go down quickly.

I don't know about puffy eyes, but I love to decoct yellow chrystamums (a Chinese herb). I put a towel over my head and soak up some of the steam after they have cooked (ventilating some to keep it the right temp). Then I strain it, drink the tea, and put the warm flowers on my eyes till they cool down. Very wonderful and healthy. Chrysanthemum tea clears and nourishes the eyes. Ask your local acupuncturist to give you some!!
