lots of water, and read those labels carefully, double check exactly where the energy is coming from, natural ingredients or sugars and man made chemicals...........then find a fave and use it on moderation, processed foods, naturally based or otherwise, should always be in moderation!

I've tried virtually all energy bars on the market and eat one each afternoon whether I'm hitting the gym or not. The best are original Powerbars, Apex bars and organic Cliff bars. I buy them all by the box and rotate them daily to get different vitamins etc working through the system.

If you are gluten sensitive AND don't want a lot of sugar, try Dr. Mercola's Cocoa Cassava (chocolate & coconut) bars. They are filling and satisfying with the right kind of fat and they contain flaxseed.

Goddess!! Have you EVER heard of CARBS???? No one, not even low-fat people should be chowing down 18 grams of sugar for a snack. You want low carb bars. The most natural are Think Thin (a fabulous brand) bars. Check out South Beach and Atkins too.
