Ok, by now everyone knows my favorite. Xocai has an awesome protein bar, and if you aren't a protein bar fan add a little peanut butter to it and I guarantee you will love it. And the peanut butter adds more protein and healthy fats. And if it's high fiber you're looking for, get the all natural X PowerHouse cookie. Double chocolate chip with a hint of cinnamon. And all healthy, feel good about it stuff inside. Visit the MyFitChocolate website to try some.

All of the comments have good suggestions. Sometimes I use energy bars as a dessert at times, because I know exactly how many calories is in it, and I can work it into my diet plan. Ostrim sounds good. Maybe I can give it a try.

I like the ones from Herbalife. You can only get them through distributors but I think it is so much better in proteins, calories and its natural! I usually get the citrus flavor.

I enjoy the Pure Protein bars, especially the Cookie Dough and Chocolate Peanut Butter. They give you 20 grams of protein for ~200 calories. For the fiber, I like the Fiber One chocolate & oats bar. Kashi bars aren't too bad either.

I am a bar fanatic, I’ve tried them all, even the nutriasytstem bars. I eat them for every purpose; fuel, protein, meal replacements and as healthy snack alternatives. The truth is that I get tired of the same stuff so I switch up a lot. I found myself sticking to the bars that offered the most energy, the most protein, the least calories the most vitamin content. Generally you will find one bar made to order per request, but I want one bar with it all, of course this bar does not exist but I think I came fairly close to what I need; the brand is Pit Bull energy bar. They’re hard to find, but after ordering direct (pitbullenergybar.com or 323.962.5020), I found that there a small company out of Los Angeles who is really in touch with their fans. There the word of mouth type, which is how I found out about the bars, through a friend. The bars can look intimidating with a brand like Pit Bull, but they are very delicious and easy to consume, there only 56grams so they are small, and the carb, calories and fats are pretty well balanced for the big punch they offer. I can go 5 hours without thinking about a meal, and what’s most impressive is the high protein (13-19 grams of soy protein; no hydrolyzed protein), fiber (up to 9 grams) and vitamin content (100-250% of b6,b12,C & Niacin). What was most surprising to me was the energy factor. I finally found a bar that gives me oomph so to speak, it must be all the energy drink type ingredients in it. I replaced my morning coffee and office brunch snack with these bars, so far I am very pleased with my new found energy, which is why I especially love the bars and I don’t feel bad about the calories (average 220) for the amount of time it keeps my appetite regulated. There’s no HFCS, but there is fructose and corn syrup, the sugar count ranges from 5 to 21grams, so I stick to their low sugar flavors, but even the sweetest bar has real fruit, which makes up most of the sugar content. So in a nutshell, look for these “puppies” there the best thing I found, and they really do the job; all of them.

Well, the suggestions sound good but nothing as healthy as a bowl of oatmeal and a glass of skim milk. u can add half apple or an orange, if u r a fruit lover. It works best for me!
