I try to eat healthy and do shop at Aldi's for produce when I can, as it is 26 miles out of my way roundtrip. I love most vegetables, both raw and cooked. I also like to add nuts to my salads, such as pecans, almonds, and even sunflower seeds are a great flavorful addition.

For radish haters: radishes are really good if you slice them, marinate them in some balsamic vinegar and a little salt overnight, and serve over greens.

I never knew veggies and fruit could be so expensive! My Windixie bill was double what it usualy is! I'm lucky I can just get them at a reasonable price from Sysco from the restaurant I work for. The stuff I don't take home goes to specials of the day so others can enjoy them as well!

Broccoli and garlic are popular they can be found at almost any local market; as for the other veggies... GoodLuck! Frozen veggies at times can be less expensive than fresh; with almost the same nutrients and no preservatives. As for canned and dried food this should be saved for natural disasters only.
