Thanks so much for adding the tip about how to make sorbet without an ice cream maker (as many of us do not own one). Great tip!

The 4 cups of sugar in the first one makes it seem too high caloric. Surely even 3 limes wouldn't require so much sugar!

I really don't understand how anyone can imply that anything with 4 cups of sugar in it is good for you or healthy in anyway. Sorry, the sorbet sounds delicious but WOW that sugar is a killer!

Glad to see berries mentioned. They are an antioxidant superpower. Berries are an everyday part of the magnetic diet.

I've heard of a purple berry from brazil call the Acai berry. It is suppose to be better than Pomegranate and Blueberries. Has there been any studies on this? Why does it not get the publicity that Pomegranate and Blueberries enjoy? Thanks, DP

I don't mean to be preachy but some of these recipes, especially the first two are loaded with refined sugar (that's what the general population would use as an ingredient in these recipes if they see the word “sugar”) which leeches nutrients from your body so that it can be digested and absorbed, instead of using plain white sugar for “high antioxidant” sorbets, i would use bananas, honey, or maple syrup which contain nutrients to offset the harmful effects of sugar. Now those are high antioxidant sorbets! ;)
