There is a chain in Southern California called Ruby's Dinner. They have a Kolbe Hamburger that is the best I have tasted. The price is less than $12.00 it is worth the price.

Ya gotta try Bobcat Bite in Santa Fe. I think it is the best ever.
I get mine medium with a slice of tomato and onion, my wife loves their chili cheese-burger. It been on PBS "Hamburger America".
It looks like an old saloon and sits only 28 but, man, is it ever good.

Why anyone would want to eat undone hamburger neat is beyond me. Have you people never heard of health risks from eating burgers that are not cooked well? Besides that, it is just damn nasty. Why don't you just go chew on a cow.

Remington Grill's San Anton Burger in North Carolina is THE BEST. Red Robin, Applebee's, TGI, Foodrucker, In and Out Burger, White Castle, Ruby Tuesday's ... DO NOT COME CLOSE to Remington Grill's Burger. Fat Burger in Vegas is Ok. I'm a Burger fanatic, and I've tasted several burgers. Maybe if you live in CA, you'd think In-n-Out Burger is Ok, but it won't hold a candle with Remington Grill's Burger. And [profane]rucker ... naahhh ...tried it several times ...

The Apple Pan in Los Angles or Pie N' Burger in Pasadena, both in So. Cal. are not chains, as both only have one location - but they are the best I've ever had.

The best burgers are in Skokie, IL a suburb of Chicago and the resturant is called Poochies. The cheedarburgers are huge and very juicy and melt in your mouth and resonablly priced.

I have worked at both Applebees and Friday's as the grill cook and I do not agree with your evaluations. First off in the pictures above you can clearly see that the Applebees burger is burnt. And as for Fridays, we use frozen processed beef so therefore it is against the health department rules to serve it below Medium. So please when you do your evaluations, make sure that one of the more experienced cooks make your food and I promise your evaluation will change. But I will agree, no matter where you go Red Robins burgers are awesome.
